Family Research Request

The Ferry County Historical Society performs research based on requests from the public.

The FCHS is a not for profit organization and, as such, operates from donations from the public and grants from public and private sources. In order to provide a research service, it is necessary to charge fees to help cover costs.

*Society members in good standing, can receive one hour of volunteer research free annually.

 

Our Research Fees:

• First 1/2 hour is free
• The first 1/2 hour of free research is based on the information the FCHS has available. We do
  not search websites available to the public.
• Any time after the initial 1/2 hour $20 per hour

11″ x 14″	50¢ per page	75¢ per page
11″ x 17″	$1.00 per page	$1.25 per page

 

Photograph Reproduction

Copy machine copies will not be made from the photograph collection.
Copies of photographs will be created on the scanner and printed on photo paper stock.

Photograph (exact copy)

Size – 4″x 6″: $ 7.00 per photo
Size – 5″x 7″: $12.00 per photo
Size – 8″ x 10″: $20.00 per photo

We do not offer enlarging, retouching or repairing of duplicated photographs at this time.
All research services, copies and prints are taxable. An invoice will be provided based on your
request. Payment in full is due prior to mailing of documents.
